BERT MITCHELL

Bert Mitchell obtained his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University, Class of 1969. He has resided and practiced in Las Vegas since his graduation from the University of Idaho College of Law in 1973, summa cum laude.

In addition to his memberships in the American, Nevada and Clark County Bar Associations, Mr. Mitchell is also a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers in America, the Nevada Trial Lawyers Association, and the Defense Research Institute. He was President of the Defense Trial Lawyers of Nevada in 1989-1990.

Mr. Mitchell is an experienced trial and appellate attorney. He is active in alternative dispute resolution and is one of the most often requested private arbitrators and mediators. He has served on the disciplinary board for the Nevada State Bar and the committee for Continuing Legal Education. He is a frequent speaker at seminars for both new and experienced attorneys on the rules and theories of civil and trial practice.
